This privacy statement covers your use of the Mana Duel mobile application developed by Happy Starfish Games, a Sweden-based independent game developer.

Information we collect

During the course of providing you with the Mana Duel mobile application, Happy Starfish Games needs to collect information about you and your use of our application.

Information you give to us

When you use Mana Duel, we use Google Play Games Services and a secure cloud-based backend to register and secure your account. This is purely for account security, gameplay synchronization, and is not shared with third parties. Very rarely, you may receive an in-game notification if you would like to receive marketing emails from us or may invite you to take part in a competition. To benefit from these services, you may be required to provide us with personal information such as your name, e-mail address, or date of birth.

Information gathered from your use of Mana Duel

When you use Mana Duel, Happy Starfish Games may collect certain information automatically, such as the type of mobile device you are using, the device ID, IP address, and information about your use of the application. Where possible, unique identifiers are anonymized and at no time does Happy Starfish Games attempt to identify you as an individual.

Note on Location: Happy Starfish Games does not collect precise real-time location information about your device.

Cookies and local storage

Cookies and local storage are small data files set by an app operator so that your device may be recognized. They typically contain anonymous information such as a unique, randomly generated ID. Happy Starfish Games may use these in Mana Duel to provide functionality such as push notifications or to maintain your session with our game servers.

How we use your information

Any personally identifiable information that you give to Happy Starfish Games will only be used for the purpose(s) for which it was supplied. For example, to protect your gaming account or to provide customer support.

• Security: All data transmitted between the application and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
• Analytics: To better understand how Mana Duel is used, we may use anonymous statistical information to report technical problems (anonymously) and improve the game experience.

Happy Starfish Games will only share your information with third parties if Happy Starfish Games has your consent to do so or when they are providing a service for us (for example, a data storage provider). Such third parties will only use that information in accordance with Happy Starfish Games’ instructions and not for their own purposes. Otherwise, Happy Starfish Games will keep your information confidential except where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Users under 13 years of age

Our Service is rated for users aged 9 and above. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 without complying with local regulations (such as GDPR or COPPA). If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us at support@happystarfishgames.com.

How long we store your information

We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the service you have requested.

Account cancellation and data deletion

In accordance with global privacy standards, users have full control over their data:

• In-game Data: Account progress, items, and currency can be deleted via the Settings menu within the game.
• Web-Based Deletion: If you have uninstalled the app and wish to request full account and data erasure, please visit our Account Deletion Page.
• Manual Requests: You may contact us directly at support@happystarfishgames.com. Once a request is verified, all data associated with your Player ID will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
